Introduction to Discover FX

Welcome to Discover FX!

Over the last 8 or so years, I have been a student of the financial markets pursuing a goal that many strive for. That is, to generate a steady and consistent income as a Forex trader from home. Now, as a self-made trader and professional fund manager, I believe with the right mindset and discipline anyone is capable of reaching their dreams and make an honest living following this path. It is because of this belief that I have created Discover FX.

Discover FX is a way for me to contribute to the Forex community. I hope to share some of my thoughts and ideas that I have picked up over my trading journey with you. Whether you are starting out or already experienced, Discover FX will have content for traders with varying levels of experience. Everybody is welcome and I encourage you to take a peek! I get extremely excited planning the topics I would like to cover, which will include:

  • Trading techniques and strategies
  • Psychology and discipline
  • Technical and fundamental analysis
  • Algorithmic and automated trading
  • Tips and tricks of the trade
  • Interviews with successful Forex traders

As a strong believer of collaboration, I am excited to meet new peopleĀ and build relationships that are mutually beneficial. This is also a way for me to relax, chat with you, and give you a glimpse into my life. Be prepared to deal with my obsession of aerial videography, fitness, all things tech and other shenanigans!

I want to thank you for your patience and support. I have many topics that I can’t wait to share so make sure to check back often!

PS. To get the ball rolling, comment below and share a little bit about how you found out about Forex and what attracted you to it. Perhaps you already have some trading experience, what lessons have the markets taught you? I’d love to know!

  1. Hello Clark!
I myself am a programmer. I first heard about trading when I was 16. Found babypips and reached middle school after I got into Skyrim and other games. In 2016 I finished Babypips school and started demoing, but did not have too much time.
I read about deep learning a while ago and today I was thinking about creating an AI who can predict/trade the market without emotions, self-improving. I was browsing the BP forum and reached your post, so here I am.
My dream is that some day I will make a living from forex. I hope we can get in touch. Maybe we can help each other.

  3. Hi Clark,

Nice to see your blog, great to hear that you become a professional fund manager. I have more than 5 years experience in trading, after lots of up and down just recently settled down and on the way to become a professional trader, from my past experience I have learned to take trading as a business, as a profession not as a time pass or hobby.

Trading can be taught but strong interest and burning desire required to be a trader, it will take time to adopt the difficult situation, specially when a trader makes series of losing trades. I am also self-taught trader but everyday learning something new, hope to trade full time soon.

Looking forward to your post and comments to learn new things.

    1. Hello Kam,

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your story.
I would agree that the business aspects of professional trading holds as much priority as trading itself. There is definitely an adjustment and I hope it goes smoothly for you.
